Powerful Data to Demonstrate Value

In 2015 we completed an impact assessment that explored the enduring effects of Corporate International Service Learning (CISL) programs. These are programs in which an organization’s employees travel across international borders to apply their work-based skills to a project or other assignment that serves a third party constituency. One component of this impact assessment examined the effect of CISL programs on employee engagement and found a very positive impact across five indicators of employee engagement.

These results have enabled the organizations involved to communicate the important role their CISL programs play in motivating their employees to contribute to organizational success.
