The Opportunity
Unit4 wanted to recognise employees reaching five-year service milestones with a meaningful alternative to traditional rewards. The goal was to create a volunteering experience aligned with sustainability priorities while deepening purpose for employees and delivering tangible value for communities.
The Journey
Emerging World partnered with Unit4 to design Act4Good Anniversary Experience, a week-long immersive volunteering opportunity. Participants work with local nonprofit partners on practical, high-priority projects.
The focus is not symbolic volunteering, but meaningful collaboration where employees can apply their skills to strengthen infrastructure, support scientific research, and build organisational capacity.
Emerging World supports the full programme cycle: partner selection, programme design, logistics and evaluation.
