EY's Accelerated Leadership Program: Building Confident Global Ready Leaders
As global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, it’s important that EY’s leaders have the skills to give their clients the very best service. They worked with Emerging World to develop a series of overseas experiences that would stretch and challenge emerging leaders on their Accelerated Leadership Program. Participating leaders were partnered with a number of innovative organisations across India, assisting with assignments such as developing business plans, building carbon credit financing schemes and reviewing management information systems.
Emerging World identified suitable partners, developed appropriate experiences for each participant and prepared them for their assignments. In the field, they provided support for both participants and partners to maximise the impact of the program.
“The single biggest impact that the programme has had so far is a massive increase in personal confidence,” explains Julia Jameson, Director of Talent Management EMEIA, EY. “By taking people to a very different environment where they may be asked to do something quite similar to their day job, but in a very different context and a very different time frame, has really helped them grow the confidence that they can operate in different environments.”
